The line is something I’ve always been fascinated with. Whether it be solo, duplicated, aesthetic, practical or structural. During my time teaching first year design at RMIT University we spent a lot of time focusing on the role of the line within representation.

Picasso’s exploration of the one continuous line, within his art of the 1950s and 1960s, would have to be my favourite. The replica I have of the Daschund ‘Lump’, hangs on my wall as a constant reminder to see the complexity in the simple and the simple in the complex.
